People always ask me: What is Reiki and how do I use it in my life?
Reiki is a Japanese holistic energy healing technique that was rediscovered by Dr. Mikao Usui in the early 20th century.
Reiki focuses on health and although it is an alternative therapy that is not offered everywhere, its practice is currently expanding and there are more and more hospitals in the USA that provide this service as a complementary medicine for many diseases.
Today, medical practitioners are coming to realize the many benefits of Reiki.
During a Reiki session, the practitioner will place his hands directly on the patient or at a distance from his body emitting energy through his hands following the protocols of Reiki practice.
There are 4 levels of Reiki: Level I, Level II, Level II, and Master.
For those that want to learn Reiki and want to discover how Reiki can heal you and guide you more and more towards a way of life filled only with harmony, peace, and success, I will be teaching Reiki Level I this Saturday, May 20 at 11:30 AM, after our monthly Sound Bath Meditation.
In the first level of Reiki, you will learn how Reiki can guide you toward the change you want. You will understand the true concept of love and compassion.

In my 25 years practicing Reiki, I have worked with patients with many health problems; from anxiety, muscle aches, fatigue, and also cases of insomnia.
My clients always report to me an improvement in their physical symptoms, mood, and well-being. They always tell me about improvements in their stress levels. They began to feel lower levels of muscle pain, experienced greater balance in their lives, and they sleep better.
They also share with me that their levels of relaxation and interest in a healthy life improve day by day. Reiki customers regain self-confidence and lower levels of depression.
It is widely accepted that Reiki can help to improve symptoms of other physical conditions and ease suffering for those with chronic illnesses.
For this reason, I have also had the opportunity to work with cancer patients at different levels, as well as patients who have overcome the disease.
Reiki is an excellent therapy to help them to improve their mood.
After the session ends, patients would always describe the experience as a sense of relaxation, calm and inner peace, no pain on their bodies.
So, does Reiki work? It sure does.
"For today only, Do not Anger, Do not Worry, Be Grateful, Practice Diligently, Show Compassion to Yourself and Others".
Mikao Usui, Founder of Reiki
While Reiki is most often associated with hands-on healing for others, the main focus of the practice is self-care. If we don’t take care of ourselves, it is difficult to hold a space of loving compassion for others.
The system of Reiki provides the perfect tools for a daily self-care program. We create space for our bodies to heal. When we are balanced in body, mind and spirit, we are able to let go of the grip of physical and emotional pain, anxiety, worry, stress, fear, resentment, anger and an abundance of emotions that we frequently carry around for a lifetime.
