One should refrain from anger and stay physically active, to prevent the pores from closing and the "Qi" from stagnating. One should not overindulge in sex, although one can indulge a bit more than in other seasons. Emotionally it is important to be happy and easygoing and not hold on to grudges so that the energy can flow freely.
What to eat during Summer
During this time, avoid heavy meals, especially on the hottest days, as they make the body slowly.
Sauté some cucumber or spinach, and eat fish, tomatoes, watermelon, melon, and strawberries. During this season, you should eat herbs and spicy foods, which increase the flow of energy and can help maintain normal and healthy sweating.
Try to eat fruits like mangoes, pears, and pineapples.
